| Abysmal customer support when talking about the Expedition Pack of Fairy Finds Posted: 20 Jan 2021 07:02 AM PST So, I'm the one of the people who bought the new exposition pack thinking it would give a rank 12 barkshield enchant and a comp that reduces damage from trolls and fey by 50%. Yes, I have seen the posts calling it a pay-to-win pack, which is what it undoubtedly was. I thought since I have been playing this game religiously during the pandemic, and I am fortunate enough to afford the £48 it costs for the ZEN required to buy the pack, I should buy it and give back to the people making this game. Especially since they for once seem to actually want to support the people who invest in the game. Well, I get the zen and go onto the zen market, where issue one arises: the enchantment is a rank 9 apparently. Between the forum and the market, there seems to be a 50/50 chance that the enchantment will actually be a rank 12, and if not no biggie, the comp is what you really want anyways! Bought the pack, went to bed, on waking up I look at the forum post and it turns out it has been silent edited over night. Now the post displays a rank 9 enchant and a bit of text saying the comp will give 15%, not 50% damage reduction. That is, in my opinion, quite a big silent nerf, and quite an expensive one at that. So I contact support, and ask for a refund either in GBP or ZEN, thinking no biggie (yes, again) I'll spend either the money on zen again, or the zen on something actually worth it. They get back to me with "having brought your concern to the team for discussion, I was informed that our team will not be able to honor your request for reimbursement as the pack's contents were clearly stated in the game's Zen Market product description". I replied and said that was just not true - the companion to be released with mod20 was only advertised in the forum post, as having 50% damage reduction against trolls and fey. The enchantment you could preview in the Zen market, but the companion - which is the main point behind buying this pack - was only detailed on the forum. We go back and forth a bit about it, with them not even acknowledging the companion point at all. So I escalate the ticket to a supervisor, and I get the following: *Twylabite (Arc Games) Jan 19, 2021, 11:16 PST This issue has been escalated to me for further review. Unfortunately, we will not be offering another item. The in game description of the item was specific and stated Rank 9, not Rank 14. The in game description that you saw when you purchased the item was correct. As we cannot assist you with this issue, this ticket will now be closed and no further correspondence sent. Regards, GM Twylabite Specialist Game Master* Uhm... Not only did he not address the companion point at all, he didn't even read the ticket - he couldn't even get the enchantment rank right, nevermind the fact that I was asking for a refund not a replacement??? It turns out Twylabite has final say over all support matters, so if you ever get through to him, good luck! After confirming literally nobody else can help, and that none of them will even mention the companion issue let alone address it, I considered going for a chargeback. A quick Google search later, it becomes clear that if you chargeback you get banned. I'll at least ride out my VIP then, but the whole experience was abysmal, and their behaviour from the forum ad to the customer support experience was just shady and slimy. Moral of the story: just wait until the very last minute to buy anything with real money - who knows what else they'll silent edit in the future! [link] [comments] | ||

I've read somewhere that you need enchanted keys to open them but I'm free to play. Is it worth investing in VIP for this (not considering other factors around VIP) or using gems to buy them? | Posted: 20 Jan 2021 01:05 PM PST On Xbox one.....I have many toons, and have fully completed campaigns on 5 of the toons. On my last toon I couldn't bear to run through Storm King's, River District, Tyranny, or Chult again so I used the campaign buyouts. Looking at my characters, I noticed that the four toons I manually completed the campaigns have 70 boons, and the character I bought out only has 67. All boons show completed in the campaign window and I cannot figure out where the boons went. Can you help? [link] [comments] | ||

| Can't queue for cloak tower privately? Posted: 20 Jan 2021 01:44 AM PST I started playing with a friend today(ps4), and we made it to the cloak tower. I select the private tab, it shows us in a group on the left and lists cloak tower in the right. For some reason, it won't let me move to the right screen to select the dungeon. Ive done it privately before, why can't I do it now? We both have the quest. And he wasnt able to select it either when he was group leader.Tried googling the issue but I've only found one thread that mentions it and it was 200+ days old and no solution. | Posted: 20 Jan 2021 03:55 AM PST Hey all, I'm about 7 days into this Neverwinter adventure and I continue to really enjoy it! The learning curve is pretty steep, but luckily with the help of you guys on Reddit I can get around. I got to the point now, where I'm not exactly sure what I should be focusing on next. I'll give you a rundown of what I've done so far after 7 days.
I might have forgot a few things I did here and there, but I think these are the main ones. So, I have about 20k IL and I'd like some advice on what to grind/farm next to keep increasing my IL. I got lucky a few times with some 1050 and 1200 IL gear on the way. Still missing arms, waist, shirt/pants etc. My artifacts are still the ones I got from starting Undermountain so those definitely need upgrading but I don't know where to go for this. I got a black dragon ioun stone (augment) companion with 3x level 9 Bonding Runestones and some 900ish IL companion gear. I don't know if these need upgrading for now? I got 1 legendary mount and 4 epic mounts. All are equipped with green insignias though, maybe I should look into that? My gear is currently enchanted with some Rank 8's enchantments, mainly aiming for Armor Pen for offense and Defense/Hp points for defense. My chest piece and weapon have a special slot I have nothing for. I don't even know what to get for this? Any tips or advice on where to go next or what to farm next would be greatly appreciated!
