How to run LOMM – a guide.

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 08:26 AM PST

How to run LOMM – a guide.

LOMM has a stat req of 20,000 item level. So we start there.

Here's a step by step guide.

    1. Get to item level 20,000. LOMM is now available to queue.
    2. Queue up for LOMM.
    3. Wait 1 hour.
    4. Realize the queue is never going to pop.
    5. Go to Yawning Portal.
    6. PM every person saying "lf lomm", never get invited.
    7. Wait for a kind soul to tell you that 20,000 item level is not enough.
    8. Spend all of your astral diamonds to increase your item level.
    9. Realize that you only increased your item level by 537 and now you're broke.
    10. Join a GH20 guild, setup guild boons, break 22,000 item level.
    11. Repeat step 7, but replace 20,000 with 22,000.
    12. Repeat step 6 until someone has low enough standards to invite you.
    13. Finally get into lomm.
    14. Get wrecked by arcturia because you can't kill mimics (and neither could the other "vhdps").
    15. Abandon lomm.
    16. Repeat steps 11 through 14 until you can finally kill mimics.
    17. roflstomp the rest of the instance because.
    18. Fall in the hole at least once. Oops.
    19. Get blown up by trobriand. Oops.
    20. Complete lomm. Get achievements. Get titles. Enjoy scenery.
    21. Open chests. Get the same junk you could've received from just about any other random dungeon queue and some gear that's worse than what you are already wearing.
    22. Question life. Why are you even playing this game? Is this it?
    23. Go back to yawning portal.
    24. Repeat step 6. Repeat steps 11 through 15. Repeat step 16.
    25. Start questioning how far off 24,000 item level is.
    26. Repeat step 22.

I’ve been looking at ranger builds. Quick question! Why is everyone putting attributes towards intelligence instead of strength? (Int) is magical damage boost. Are all the archery attacks considered magic?

How long is the wait between PC and console updates?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 03:07 PM PST

I see that Mod 18 is being released in about a week on PC. I was wondering how long it usually takes for console players to see the updates after PC players get them?

I am a TR, 98% To end game, stats are all cap for Tomm except for CA which is 113k.

I am looking for an active, helpful, fun GH20. I have only been able to run Lomm 3 times and have yet to run Tomm. I would also very much like to run queues again.

    Holy Avenger vs Life Drinker

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 01:52 PM PST

My wife doesn't have reddit, so I'm asking for her as zone chat is a bit useless today.

I do not want any answers involving BIS, Vorpal, Bilethorn etc. They will not answer the question. Between these two specific enchantments; Holy Avenger and Life Drinker, which is the better option for survivability? Pardony my curtness, but my patience is very thin today.

Edit: So she's tested both, with ACT, HA indeed does work on yourself. I'm not sure what she chose in the end, but thing's been solved. Thank you all of you who answered the question, you were very helpful. The ones who answered with things not pertaining to these two specific enchantments, as requested, I don't understand why y'all did. She didn't even glance at them because y'all didn't follow directions.

    Movement for Neverwinter

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 07:32 AM PST

Do you guys use WSAD for you movement hotkey in neverwinter? Why does most mmo rpg games like to use WSAD for their movement hotkey example like c9 and guild war 2 and even neverwinter. I just do not know how to use them since I am use to using my right hand for movement and left hand for attacking. I actually didnt use WSAD for movement in neverwinter. I dont think console have such issue right?

Anyone have good hotkey suggestion to use for movement beside WSAD?
