SUMMONED: Xuna or Abyssal Chicken SLOTTED for DPS: Phase Spider -3.75% crit chance and combat adv. Black Dragon Ioun Stone -7.50% crit chance. Alchemist Experimenter- 3.75% crit cha and combat adv. Staldorf - 7.50% comb adv. Fire Archon- 10% chance on at-will increase combat adv 7.50%. For 10 sec. Feel free to add some that I haven't mentioned.... [link] [comments] | ||
| Noob question (Mount/Companion bolsters) Posted: 31 Jan 2021 01:52 AM PST Hey all, This will come across as a very noob question but the companion bolster got me confused. While on PS4 we're waiting for the next update to come out (next Tuesday I think it was) I've been trying to hold off on making big changes or spend large amounts of AD on upgrades no one is sure about yet. What I do keep reading is that investing in companions and mounts is a safe investment for now until we have more information. For mounts it's pretty straight forward (I think?), basically aim for 10 mythic ones. 5 being in your active slots and 5 more in your stable? Correct me if I'm wrong please. How does it work with companions as there are different ''classes'' or ''races'' of companions. Does it matter which section I upgrade? Should I aim for upgrading companions in the same section or can you just freely choose which companions you upgrade as long as you have 10 total mythics in the entire list? Also, this might be my dumbest question but I just want to make sure. As of now, there's actually no way to upgrade a companion to mythic rank right? I have a legendary max rank Xuna, Bulette pup, Black Dragon Ioun Stone and Abysall Chicken but none of them give me an option to upgrade them further into mythic. | Some reflections on how far I’ve come in this game. Posted: 30 Jan 2021 10:52 AM PST (Just FYI this is going to be a little bit of a long post) So first off, I am physically distanced from my console all days but Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday morning, and so I can get in maybe 7 hours of this game a week. As you can prob figure out, the fact I can only play 3 days a week severely limits the amount of AD I can earn, I generally average about 200k/ week. Not bad, but still, it could be over triple that. It should also be mentioned that I don't have spare money to spend on this game, so keep that in mind too. Anyway, my main account is to level 80, I have a Bulette Pup to level 35, a Bulette mount, and am saving for a deep crow for a weaker account. However, I have been enjoying the time with this game I can get, not to mention the fact that the community is great. My item level is about 17k, so it's not that great, but I'm getting there. Some fond memories I have include: (not in any particular order btw) - farming way longer than I should have to get the full layered lizardfolk set in the Pirates Skyhold. - unlocking Chult for the first time - realizing that loadouts are a thing - getting the Bulette mount, and seeing it's summon animation. It's amazing. - and probably also laughing at how bad makos is the intro part on the bridge. Idk what the purpose of this post is, but I just want to thank everyone who's helped me get here. (Quick edit: shoutout to u/parks691. He helped me get going at level 80, and it really boosted my progress a lot.) [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 30 Jan 2021 10:35 PM PST this seems like the only class without a dps paragon? because my main which is a paladin now significantly less damage than my undergeared fighter alt, and the only problem i saw is the lack of a dps paragon and by that i mean, lacking a power forte, i cant even do a 1 minor heroic mob without using up all my divinity, staff of flowers and an aoe mount power (lack of chicken damage hurts too) i hope we pallys get some love because this is annoying :( [link] [comments] | ||
| Question About Legendary Knox Companion Posted: 30 Jan 2021 12:08 PM PST Now that the companion pack is out in the wild, some guild members and I were looking over the companions to see if anyone besides Xuna is worth the investment. Looking over the legendary version of Knox (Alphonse Knox), if you look under his Stats and Powers section, the bottom most power is called "Will Not Fail". This power's tooltip states "Reduces all incoming damage by 33%". What's unclear is, does this mean to the player, or simply to Knox. Is this a power that procs often or is it a constantly activated power? Is there a cool down? Any help with these questions for us on consoles would be mighty appreciative? [link] [comments] | ||

Is there any way to still get this gear? Its still showing up on the gear list under chult but none of the vendors carry it. Im on console so I didnt receive the combat changed yet so I cant judge if espacially Xuna is still such a beast. It has been a while since either event happened. I use to be able to gauge when they were near from the wiki which use to list when each event happened last, but since the wiki is not updated anymore that is no longer possible. Was thinking of buying and selling r15 enchantments or save for the week when we get discount from the trade bar merchant and buy 5k companion tokens that I really can use.
