Posted: 10 Jan 2020 08:33 PM PST Hello folks. I've been floating around through games for a couple of months now. Short story games that last 30 hours or so. I'm looking for a new long term game to play. I enjoy MMO's, and I used to play ESO as my long term "this is home" RPG. But burnt out with it after a long time. Just looking for a new game to spend some time in. I'm looking for something with a lot of rpg elements to micromanage that also has some down time activities. Not just a straight hack and slash. Group or solo play, depending on what I'm in the mood for or how much time I have. Like if it's a day off and I can do some long group activities, awesome, but if I just have an hour or two I wanna just bum around and solo quest. Pvp is secondary to what I want to have, but if its accessible I'll be happy. I play on xbox, and was wondering if all of this sounds like Neverwinter might be for me or not? How's the population? Is there a good "starter" class? I enjoy all roles in the holy trinity, but DPS is generally an easier playstyle to start with. Is that true here? Thanks for any input ya all have! Thinking of coming back to the game after quitting for 2 years Posted: 10 Jan 2020 05:56 PM PST Hello everyone so i was a dedicated tryhard player doing speedruns and all the fun stuff 2 years ago, and i gave away all my gear, is it worth coming back to the game considering i will start from scratch, and would it take me a lot of time to catch up with everyone, is there an optimal team composition currently like before or is it balanced, and what are the classes that the people are looking for in their teams? Warden Expeditions and Fragment Expedition Posted: 10 Jan 2020 11:47 AM PST I'm having trouble understanding how these expeditions are gated. Could someone let me know how it works?
Please help me correct any errors. Also, is there a 'best' way to do this? Is there a way to save up and do the WEs/FEs on the same day? [link] [comments]
Unawakened Hearts and Weapons of (Air, Earth, Fire, Water)... oh, and bag space Posted: 10 Jan 2020 03:14 PM PST Should I even bother with the Weapons of (Air, Earth, Fire, Water) quests? I've read that the items aren't worth much, but I was thinking that the XP would be of some value. Thing is, I don't recall EVER getting any Motes for completing Heroic Encounters. Should I just discard the Hearts and reclaim four bag slots? On another note, is there any place to get bags other than Zen or the AH? Any bag drops? The Undermountain freebies filled a third of my bags and I'm having difficulty just letting them go. Or should I do exactly that if my equipped items are better than the Undermountain freebies? Posted: 10 Jan 2020 06:18 AM PST Hi. I know this is going to be a really obvious answer, but its been bugging me and I can't see a reference for it anywhere. Regarding the workshop. When you are going through the list of items to produce, on the right of each item there is a level number... Some are in white and some in yellow... What's the difference in colour mean? When does it become challenging? Posted: 10 Jan 2020 10:01 AM PST I'm only level 20 but so far it seems like I am so much more powerful and there is very little risk. Is this normal for this level? When do things ramp up in difficulty? [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Jan 2020 01:51 AM PST how do i get into malabog's castle? i have the quest accepted, but the queue is locked. i'm not underleveled or anything. i'm not sure what to do... [link] [comments]

Hell Pit Event - This is the last straw Posted: 10 Jan 2020 11:02 AM PST Below is the message I have sent to multiple online religious publications as well as directly to wizards of the coast. I am not sure whose decision this was but it was officially the last straw for me. Read and act as you see fit. Dungeons & Dragons has officially become an agent of the Devil. I have been a longtime fan of the fantasy dungeons & dragons game. I played as a teen in the 80 on the tabletop version and for the past few years have been playing the online game Neverwinter (available on PC, Xbox and PlayStation). The online multiplayer game provided a similar fantasy role playing world that the tabletop game from the 80's offered. It was good fun until…. In January of 2020 on console (earlier for PC) the game designers introduced a new special event where players could complete to earn some of the top items available in the game. The only catch to playing this event? YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO WAGER YOUR SOUL You read that right, the in game dialog you have to go through and accept to get into the event requires that you are willing to bet your soul on the outcome going as far as requiring the signature in "digital" blood. I understand that the fantasy role playing genre was frowned upon by the church as Magic has no place in their teachings but I was always able to shrug it off as being just make believe. This event changes that. If there were ever any doubts that dungeons and dragons was intended to convert people to worship Satan, those doubts have now been erased. I don't know if this decision was done by the game developers (Perfect World Entertainment) or driven by the copy write owners (Wizards of the Coast) but the latest event should make clear one thing. If you believe in god you should DELETE THIS GAME IMMEDIATELY. [link] [comments] |
