How important are race roles in endgame?

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 09:22 PM PDT

I play a ranger DPS currently but I'd like to make a Warlock healer but want to level as a DPS so it's faster. I'd like to use a class other than like Tiefling or Elf for a change. I made a human but only rolled a 9 on Wisdom. Will that be game breaking for me in endgame content?

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 08:36 PM PDT

    How important are mounts?

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 08:34 PM PDT

I have a couple of epic mounts, and am considering buying a legendary from the AH. Are they worth the 4-5 mil AD? What's the benefit beside getting places faster?

What species are you? My character is a half-orc.

Just thought it'd be fun to see what species is most common here on the sub! :)

Does the utility power work still if I'm using a augmented companion?

50% chance on companion power use to apply CLP to you this effect may only occur every 15 seconds

CLP-grants 8% additional damage as radiant damage for 10 seconds

    Can't Change Loadout

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 07:42 PM PDT

Does anyone know how to get around the bug where you can't change loadouts?

It's making me insane. It first happened late last night, but now it's still happening this afternoon.

I really don't want to respec either as it's just annoying and I finally have my build where I want it _^

    Quick question on Neverember Incentives.

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 07:40 PM PDT

I leveled two toons to 60. Decided to use all 100 pts each on rank 5 Enchants. Sold a bunch of them now the last 20 I had in my batch say account bound?

It literally changed from this morning to now. Can't sell them. Anyone know why they would become account bound?

    Thanks.

Which 3 legendary mounts did you choose from the pack?

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 03:56 PM PDT

Hi, I bought the leg pack and I am interested if someone else had the same issue to choose the 3 for all his toons. As mine are tank, healer and dps (9 in total) I am wondering if there is any good choice for the 3 that would support all of them the best. So maybe you wanna share what and why you picked? Thx in advance.

Got a lv 70 token, what class do I want to play though?

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 03:01 PM PDT

    Hey guys

Returning player here; I've been active until about one year ago and wanted to get back into NW, this time though I wanna play some defending or supporting role. I have a lv 70 token and would like to know what to spend it on: Paladin, Warlock or Cleric because of fancy magic stuff. Then, which role is most wanted (by others) and viable in current endgame content, healer or tank (or support DC, if that's still a thing)? What about solo content, does it take forever to kill simple enemies in such a role or is it not too long lasting? Maybe also, which class is most flexible?
I've only played DD back then so I have no clue about other roles, can you help me?

If damage dealer is best at the moment though, I would also play one of these for sure! I just want to be useful for my team and not suck when playing alone. Which class would be way-to-go for DD at the moment, if so?

Can the same insignia combo bonus apply multiple times?

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 02:14 PM PDT

I experimented it with shepherd devotion, which adds to me and my teammates 1500 defense and +10% movement speed. I have two mounts with this bonus in the stables. firstly I tried each mount individually, and it worked just fine, but when I used both of them I only got 2250 defense and +15% movement speed, and both happen to be 3/4 of the sum of both bonuses. Is it supposed to happen, and if so what is the percentage present in three bonuses and even four? Thank you very much

Have some beginner questions. Help appreciated...

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 10:24 AM PDT

I'm currently a level 23 Paladin. Do I get skills like lay on hands and turn undead? When? How do I use them? Do I get spells?

I've read a lot about this game here and other places and it seems like there's a lot of things to know and manage. It also seems the real game doesn't start until you're level 70/80.

I'm just doing quests, equipping better gear when I find it, training my companion, riding my mount and that's about it. I've enchanted items when it was part of a quest and used/equipped? artifacts but beyond that things like Astral Diamonds, insignias, boons, etc are all over my head at the moment.

I'm I doing fine for right now? Does that stuff really kick in once you reach the level cap? Is there an easy to understand guide on what I should be doing so as not to screw myself late game?

    Thanks for any help.

    Grand Retelling Ideal Healer Stats

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 01:26 PM PDT

Hello! I am a relatively new player (17.4k) and would like to get the artifacts from the Grand Retelling event. However, I'm not sure my character is ready to participate in the dungeon and if I would just mess it up for the rest of the group.

    Important Healing Stats:

    72k Power

    42k 50k Defense

60k 65k Critical Strike (I know I need to have this at 1.25x Power by endgame)

    21.3% Outgoing Healing

    85.5% Critical Severity

    4.5% Magical Damage Boost

    3265-3990 Damage from Main Hand

Are these even viable for the dungeons? What should I be aiming for to become viable for the event? How much farming should it take to get all 4 artifacts and one with all of the chapter bonuses? (As I play healer & Enchanted Thumb set is BiS but the set bonus isn't very good, I don't need the expensive artifact and I feel like the Frozen Storyteller's Journal is a better choice)

Is there anything else I should know as a new player?

Beginner questions on getting into endgame

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 01:06 PM PDT

Hey, so I have recently started with NW again and I am a little confused about how to start into endgame content. My character is a ranger (warden) and I have already read some guides and builds; I mostly see how stuff makes sense, my problem is simple though: all the stuff, companions and mounts are expensive af and I cannot afford them at the beginning.
    So my questions basically are:
    * How can I play high level content without being useless to my team?
    * Are there "budget builds" or do you have ideas on that topic?

    Thank you already!

New player, can't do The Staff of Savras...?

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 12:39 PM PDT

    Hi guys,

Started the game today and I'm having some issue with "The Staff of Savras" campaign. I spoke to the girl below the vault, now when I mouse over the campaign in the campaign journal it tells me to talk to Sergeant Knox to do "The Seer" quest... but I already completed that quest?

I also read online that the shards required were obtained by killing orcs in tower district, but I have just completed the quests in tower district and never found any shards... Not sure what to do from here quite honestly.

Would appreciate if somebody could give me some pointers :)

    Thanks!

    New player question

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 08:44 AM PDT

I just started playing and I'm trying to find a good class fit for me. I typically play solo but don't mind a group once in a while. I've tried the Barbarian and do ok, but with no healing, tend to die on the boss fights (like Krag Foultooth) and end up having to use one of the instant rez scrolls when I die so he's half dead. So I tried a Paladin, which I really like, but have an even harder time because I can't kill him quickly enough and the adds get me.

Now I've started a Cleric assuming that my heals would keep me alive and while I haven't gotten to 'Krag Foultooth' yet, I'm worried I'll be in the same perdicament as my Paladin.

Should I be expecting to have these many issues/deaths or have I just not found the right class yet? I read alot of Paladin sites that said while you may kill slowly, you literally have to try pretty hard to die, but that hasn't been my experience.

    Thanks for any recommendations.

    Question about Account mount

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 11:41 AM PDT

Before I blow any AD, I want to clarify whether or not the account mount is still able to be claimed on all toons if I purchase it from the Tradehouse. Or does it have to be purchased from the zen market? Kinda confused.
